About Us

Big Green Cleaning was founded by Claire Blizard in 2012. Claire is a highly organised individual who spent 17 years in London working in Magazine Publishing and another 8 years in London running her own recruitment company. Whilst working in her office she noticed that the cleaners were using particularly pungent products with a strong chemical aroma. Thinking this was unpleasant, she wondered if this was necessary in the modern age and after some research, she realised that it was not.

Claire returned to her hometown and started Big Green Cleaning centred around using eco-friendly products, green ethos and top-quality service.

Initially, companies were reluctant due to the perceived lower quality products but that is not true and in 2019 Eco-Friendly products are more effective than the artificial, chemical equivalents. Now, companies embrace the eco-friendly approach from Big Green Cleaning which paired with all the credentials and accreditations gained is a winning combination.

Big Green Cleaning now has a team of Area Managers and Supervisors, Mobile Units and a team of over 40 cleaners and continues to grow. Our team of local cleaners are paid a fair wage and are committed to delivering a high-quality friendly service.
